Unique Architectural Glass
Architectural glass commissions for residential commercial & public spaces. I produce custom made glass for homes and facades of public buildings on a range of scales, using many glass making techniques including kiln forming, etching and encapsulating hand painted silks.
Please view here a range of selected one off glass projects I have completed.

Bespoke Glass Lighting
The effect light has on glass has always fascinated me. I particularly love experimenting with directing artificial light through the material.
I have worked with interior designers, large companies and residential clients to design and make exciting lighting features. In this section you will see the lighting features I have created in bespoke glass, using LED technology.
-
Bespoke Glass Splashbacks
I have been designing and making bespoke glass spashbacks for over 20 years. I work with kitchen companies and directly with clients to design and make beautiful glass features.
Here you will see a range of competed projects in three sections, one-off textured glass, multi - coloured glass and my new bespoke laminated style glass.
-
Glass Sculpture & Awards
I have been commissioned to design and make many awards over the years, in many different styles. These custom made awards bring a unique element to an event or organisation. Each award is always made by hand and is a one off. Text can be etched, engraved or printed.
Bespoke glass art awards and sculpture make a unique talking point.

Bespoke Glass Door Handles
Custom made door handles in glass are a wonderful feature to liven up the mundane! Whether its an injection of colour or unique shape, my one off glass handles are durable to be used on solid doors, wardrobes and drawers.
My glass combined with bespoke fixings, create a substantial handle. As you can see they are strong enough to be used in hotels.
-
Unique Glass For Furniture
My bespoke textured glass is perfect for use as shelving and table tops as it can be toughened to meet safety standards. It is equally suited for windows & doors.
I have been fortunate to work with some of the most amazing and skilled furniture makers in the UK who have incorporated my glass into their bespoke pieces. View some f the projects here.

Client Feedback........

Client Feedback........
‘For me, great kitchen design is a perfect blend of practicality and beauty. Artisan-made fused glass splashbacks from Jo Vincent offer both qualities. However, I do not like using the word ‘splashback’ with Jo’s work. I describe these as individually commissioned pieces of art. Every client has their own vision and dream for a certain look in their new ATLANTIS kitchen, and every glass panel is uniquely designed and handcrafted by Jo to make that dream a reality’.
Andrey Donksy, Designer, Atlantis Kitchens, Kendal

Client Feedback........
‘Having previously bought beautiful glass bowls from Jo, we asked her to design four bespoke glass windows for our new bathroom, and one for the front door. She produced the most extraordinary, beautiful and original work, representing the hills and lakes of Cumbria. And then gave us a set of glass coasters to match the front door window! All are loved – a daily delight - and much admired.’
Suzie Hayman, Cumbria

Jo presented a variety of sample glass options, showcasing different colors and textures, and collaborated with us to develop the perfect design to complement our room's interior. From start to finish, Jo provided clear and professional guidance, making the entire process seamless. We highly recommend Jo for her unique designs and impeccable service’

Client Feedback........
"As a member of the Awards Team that delivers the annual Cumbria Tourism Awards, I've worked with Jo Vincent for over 10 years to create unique and stylish awards to recognise our deserving winners. It's a part of the annual project that I enjoy the most. Jo always has a host of wonderful ideas which fit the brief perfectly and give that extra something special. The designs have changed over the years to keep them fresh, but they always reflect the essence of Cumbria and are something our winning businesses are proud to show off to their customers. Jo listens to what we'd like, works within the budget we have, offers creative suggestions throughout the process and pulls together other local producers and materials to deliver the job on time. I look forward to seeing this year's creations."
