About Me
I have over 30 years of experience working with glass. I studied initially on a 3D Design Degree course where I became captivated by the play of light on glass. I then worked in glass studios in Italy and London developing skills in traditional stained glass and kiln-formed glass techniques, particularly lost wax, lead crystal casting. In 2000, I relocated to Kendal, Cumbria to set up a glass studio and start my own studio practice.
I work on a diverse range of commissioned glass projects for both residential and commercial clients. My workshop is equipped to handle projects of all sizes, allowing me to create bespoke architectural glass, unique lighting features, kitchen splashbacks, glass wall panels and sculpture.
You are welcome to visit my studio by appointment. I am here most days of the week, but please call ahead to ensure I am available as I may be out installing a commission or walking my dog.
The Factory, where my studio is located, is a lively community hub with plenty of parking. You will also find other creative businesses, a gym, a yoga studio, a café, and two pubs – making it a great place to visit!
I hope you enjoy exploring my website and viewing my work. If you're interested in commissioning a piece then please get in touch. Don’t forget to sign up below to stay updated on new projects and upcoming events.

My Inspiration
When not making glass, I can be found swimming and running in the Lakeland fells with my family, friends and spaniel Lottie!
I am fortunate enough to live, work and play in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, the English Lake District.
Spoilt with the natural landscape of mountains, lakes and coastline, my surroundings are a constant inspiration for my commission and personal work.
I love observing permanent geological formations above and beneath the ground as well as temporary shifts in the landscape caused by seasons, tides and weather .
The Studio and celebrating 10 years at The Factory!
In August 2000 I established a small studio on a rural industrial estate on the outskirts of Kendal. Over 14 years, as my commissions and equipment grew, I expanded into neighbouring units and even a shipping container to accommodate everything!
In 2014, a derelict carpet factory building in Kendal, formerly ‘Goodacre Carpets’, was restored and converted into creative studios, now known as ‘The Factory’. I took this amazing opportunity to move to a more central location and became one of the first residents.
This year, I am delighted to celebrate 10 years at The Factory, and next year will mark my 25th year in business!
