‘Cascading Chandelier’
This dramatic, cascading light feature was commissioned for a stairwell in a family home.
A warm light consisting of 25 kiln formed glass leaves spiral through the stairwell.
Each leaf is cast in the kiln adding texture to the glass. A palette of autumnal colours was created.
The glass is then shaped, drilled and bent.
Each of the 25 glass leaves have 2 LED diodes housed in aluminium fittings, bonded and wired to the glass.
This projects the light directly through the glass illuminating each leaf.

‘Bombay Saphire Chandelier’
I was commissioned by the ‘Cedar Manor Hotel’, in Windermere to create a feature light for their reception room.
Sustainability was highlighted in the briefing process as an important factor for the hotel.
So I used Bombay Sapphire gin bottles!
Over 70 bottles were kindly donated to me from local hotels - all empty unfortuently!
The colour is so wonderful when illuminated and the etched botanical detail on the bottles comes to life when lit.
The glass bottles were cut to enable me to use each of the 4 sides.
The glass was then cast and bent in the kiln & drilled to allow bespoke aluminium fittings to be attached to the glass. Each housed 2 LED diodes to project light through the glass
Detail of the existing etched botanical information on the bottle now illuminated.

‘Elipse’ Chandelier’
A cascading, kiln formed glass lighting feature for a double height space in a new build property on the Isle of Man.
The glass forms an elliptical shape in blue tones, then decending through the space from blues to turquoises to greens.
Each kiln-formed glass leaf is lit by 2 LED diodes, housed in an aluminium fitting.
‘Sculptural Lighting’
I was commissioned by the ‘Chapel Gallery’, in Ormskirk, Lancashire to produce a series of lighting features for 3 areas of the gallery.
A series of 3 lighting features were created for the gallery cafe, 4 wall pieces for a link corridor and 2 ceiling features for a second corridor space.
Individually etched glass rods and shaped bars.
Suspended from stainless steel fittings with colour change LED light source.

‘S’ Chandelier
I was commissioned to produce a dramatic contemporary chandelier for this dramatic entrance to a house. The entrance linked the old and new parts of the house. The chandelier was constructed in four sections, creating an ‘S’ wave shape overall.
Hundreds of individual kiln-formed glass blades were hung from the made to order stainless steel structure. Bespoke LEDs were housed in the stainless steel and projected light down and through the glass.
‘Boutique Guest House’
A brief to design and make a glass lighting feature for a guesthouse front porch ,to act as a focal point and incorporate the name, ‘No 43’
Over a metre tall, this curved, kiln formed bespoke glass shade sits over a wall mounted light source. The glass has cast surface texture, subtle use of colour with etched detail to highlight the business logo.
